The process to develop the 2012-2017 Michigan Tourism Strategic Plan was facilitated by
Michigan State University in partnership with Travel Michigan and the
Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

The purpose of the Travel Commission is to "promote, maintain and
develop the orderly growth of the Michigan travel product."
